Stuart Warner

Stuart is a seasoned attorney with experience in a variety of roles generally within the life-sciences, chemical, medical and pharmaceutical sectors: in-house council and team lead within a large multinational corporation (food and feed enzymes), consultant attorney within an old and prestigious law firm (traditional servicing of very many small, medium and large entities with a large variety of technologies), head of IP in a mid-size biotech (industrial scale use of multi-step bio-synthetic pathways), head of IP and Legal in an explosive-growth spin-off (vaccine adjuvant technologies).

Stuart prefers to be semi-embedded within the client’s organisation so that he can accumulate the overview and level of fine detail required to provide holistic council through an aggregate of specific business-relevant tasks of which he has twenty years of experience: contract drafting and negotiation, MTAs, NDAs/CDAs, CRADAs, tech’ transfer agreements, in/out-licensing agreements, drafting patent applications, prosecuting patent applications through examination in Europe and coordinating prosecution strategies globally by instructing attorneys in other jurisdictions, patent filing strategy, IP landscape, freedom to operate, advice on the research exemption and regulatory approval exemption to patent protection, review of third party IP estates, filling anonymous third party observations or oppositions against competitors’ patents to “clear the way”, registration of trade marks, prophylactic disclosures, confidentiality and trade secret best practices, legal/IP input to funding applications and project stagegate decision reviews.

Kasper Fjelbye

Kasper specializes in intellectual property management within life science, pharma, and biotech and works closely with clients to secure patent exclusivity that aligns with their business objectives in key jurisdictions worldwide.
